On July 1, 2024, an important amendment to the Operating Costs Ordinance will come into force, according to which landlords will no longer be allowed to charge the costs of a broadband connection via the ancillary costs. There is one exception: the Telecommunications Act makes it possible to charge a fiber optic provision fee in order to promote the expansion of fiber optic networks at network level 4.<\/p>\n
