Important notes

 

  • The Nis2-UmsuCG and KRITIS Umbrella Act were not passed by the last government. A new legislative process will be initiated by the new government, with entry into force expected in summer/autumn 2025 at the earliest.
  • As no implementation deadline has been set, this time should be used for preparation and implementation.
  • Binding obligations already exist in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI Act) and data protection.
