BREKO-Glasfaserforum Baden-Württemberg 2025
With a new design, but at a familiar location, the BREKO Glass Fiber Forum Baden-Württemberg will take place again this year. Be there when the latest developments and best practices in fiber optic expansion are discussed in Stuttgart on 14 May 2025.
Highlights of the program:
- Dr. Achim Brötel, President of the Deutscher Landkreistag, reports on the successful expansion of fiber optics.
- Breitbandversorgung Deutschland GmbH provides insights into the current status of the nationwide fiber optic expansion in the Neckar-Odenwald district.
- Ruben Queimano Alonso, CCO Deutsche Glasfaser and Frank Rosenberger, CEO 1&1 Versatel will be among those speaking on the challenges and opportunities at the panel on Open Access.
- The Federal Gigabit Office is also represented: Sven Butler, Head of the Gigabit Office, will provide information on current developments.
- Stefan Kühne from KSK Kabel- und Satelliten-Kommunikation sheds light on the importance of network level 4 for successful fiber optic expansion.
After the lunch break at the German Fiber Optic Lunch, the focus will be on cooperation and joint fiber optic expansion. Best practice examples from Baden-Württemberg will be presented and ways to achieve an even more efficient open access model will be discussed in a panel discussion.
