FIBERDAYS20 – the leading trade fair for all aspects of fiber optic expansion – originally planned for 5 and 6 March will take place this year on 13 and 14 October at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden.
The postponement had become necessary due to the increased spread of the coronavirus and the associated incalculable health risk for visitors, exhibitors and employees.
“We are very pleased that we were able to announce an alternative date for FIBERDAYS20 so quickly after very constructive and cooperative discussions with the RMCC in Wiesbaden and our service providers,” explains Dr. Stephan Albers, Managing Director of BREKO Servicegesellschaft. “Postponing the trade fair just a few days before the start was an extremely difficult decision, which I still consider to be absolutely necessary and correct, even with a few days’ notice, in the interests of the health and safety of everyone involved.” Albers would like to express his special thanks to the exhibitors, visitors, members, partners and suppliers: “The great response and understanding for our decision to postpone FIBERDAYS20 at such short notice has really impressed me personally – and now I am already looking forward to welcoming you to our Fiberdays20 in Wiesbaden on October 13 and 14.”
Visitor tickets purchased for FIBERDAYS20 will remain valid for the alternative date.
