fiberdays 25 for the first time at Messe Frankfurt
Bonn 18.02.2025 Germany’s leading trade fair for fibre optic expansion and digitalization is growing and creating more space for topics, knowledge transfer and dialogue at the new location.
fiberdays 25 will take place at Messe Frankfurt am Main for the first time from 02 to 03 April 2025. With the new location, the trade fair offers around 60 percent more space for a growing number of exhibitors, visitors and topics. More than 250 national and international exhibitors will showcase their products and services and offer trade visitors the opportunity to find out about the latest developments in a compact format. The trade fair will be officially opened on April 2 by Hessian Digital Minister Prof. Dr. Kristina Sinemus.
New themed areas set innovative accents
Once again, fiberdays will be presenting a variety of new themed areas: The “Green Plaza” highlights the current issues surrounding the sustainability of fiber optic networks and data centers. The “AI Forum” shows the practical use of artificial intelligence in the infrastructure sector. The “International Carrier Exchange”, together with an English-language stage program, offers a networking forum for European players in the network, services and data center sectors.
Focus on challenges
The current trends and challenges facing the industry will be addressed in a variety of panels and presentations on a total of six stages, providing insights and impetus. Exciting discussions on the infrastructure transition from copper to fiber optics, a smart city panel, a housing industry summit and the municipal summit will provide new platforms for impulses, in which numerous high-ranking representatives from the industry, federal, state and municipal politics, administration and science will present and discuss their findings on currently relevant topics.
Exclusive kick-off for municipal utilities on the day before the trade fair
Following last year’s successful launch, municipal utilities and municipal supply companies will be able to network at the exclusive Stadtwerke-Treff on April 1, 2025. The focus will be on the topic of “AI in practice.” Expert presentations and best-practice examples will illustrate how artificial intelligence can be used successfully in the everyday lives of municipal companies and their employees, taking into account data protection and ethical aspects.
