Together with Bau-ABC in Rostrup and our partner TRACTO, we designed a new type of certified training module in 2024 that specifically increases the quality and safety of construction measures in fiber optic expansion. The training module is now also being used by our partners gabocom, Bagela, plan[neo] and Opternus supported.

During the training course, you or your employees will be trained in theory and practice in the following areas in Bad Zwischenahn on the premises of Bau-ABC Rostrup to become a project manager for construction supervision:

• Tendering, but legally compliant
• Rights of way
• Securing excavation pits and construction sites
• Fundamentals of road construction theory – from material selection to storage
• Practice: Working with the earth rocket
• Occupational health and safety
• Basics of compaction technology
• Sustainable civil engineering: Trenchless pipe laying
• Practice: Laying empty conduits
• Fundamentals of microtube technology and tube bracing
• Manufacture and sealing of house entries (multi- and single-pass)
• Practice: Blowing in the fiber optic cable
• Safety during construction work in the vicinity of utility systems
• Practice: Measurement and documentation of the installed pipes
• Project management: Effective conflict and process management between employees, building authorities, service providers and owners

The training is designed for both telecommunications network operators and municipal authorities with the aim of ensuring quality standards in the construction of fiber optic networks.
