Our project groups support the Regulation & Strategy, Technology and Fiber, Innovations and Services working groups. Different specialist areas work together on specific solutions and concepts.

Overview of the project groups

The Cybersecurity, AI and Data Protection project group is dedicated to analyzing and classifying the legal foundations as well as developing and presenting technical implementation options in these three areas. A central goal is to promote dialog and exchange on these specific topics with experts and among companies.

The sustainability project group works on current topics and political positions relating to sustainable business in the area of expansion and operation of fiber optic networks and data centers.

In the data center project group, highly topical issues relating to the data center in connection with FTTX, open access (with micro data centers), etc. are discussed and developed as implementation recommendations for BREKO members.

The Building Networks project group focuses its activities on analyzing the technical and legal requirements for the installation of FTTH expansion in buildings.
